My name’s Tim, and I write novels.

I’ve spent my career working behind the scenes for some of the world’s most famous and infamous brands, and my free time reading spy novels and espionage histories.

RED CORONA, the first Richard Knox Spy Thriller, is set at the dawn of the surveillance age with modern resonances about privacy, identity, and loyalty. It won The People’s Book Prize First Time Author Award.

My second novel, A LOYAL TRAITOR, explores how the Cold War descended into paranoia, mistrust and betrayal on all sides. It was a Times Thriller of the Month and nominated for the CWA Ian Fleming Steel Dagger Award,

The third Richard Knox Spy Thriller, A GAME OF DECEIT, takes our hero to Hong Kong in the summer of 1967, when the city was a political powder keg about to explode. It was a Financial Times thriller of the month.
